Consumer Rights
In plain English: UAE Consumer Protection Law gives you rights when buying services from Visask. You have the right to accurate pricing before you pay, to a clear receipt, to complain and receive a response, and to escalate to UAE consumer protection authorities if we do not resolve your complaint. This page explains those rights and how to use them.
01 Legal framework
Visask, operated by Easyco Corporate Services Provider in Dubai, is subject to UAE consumer protection regulation. The principal legislation that applies to our service relationship with individual clients includes:
- Federal Decree-Law No. 5 of 2023 on Consumer Protection — the primary UAE consumer protection law governing the rights of individuals purchasing goods and services in the UAE.
- Cabinet Resolution No. 66 of 2023 — the executive regulations implementing the Consumer Protection Law, including provisions on pricing transparency, complaint handling, and e-commerce.
- Federal Decree-Law No. 8 of 2017 on Value Added Tax — requiring that prices include VAT or that the VAT component is clearly stated before purchase. We include VAT in all listed prices.
- Dubai Economic Department (DED) Consumer Protection Department — the emirate-level authority responsible for enforcing consumer protection standards for licensed businesses operating in Dubai, including Easyco.
This page describes your rights under these frameworks as they apply to your use of Visask. It is not a full legal opinion. For specific legal advice, we recommend consulting a qualified UAE lawyer.
02 Right to accurate pricing
Under UAE Consumer Protection Law, you have the right to know the full price of a service before you commit to purchase. Visask is built on this principle.
- All prices are published online. Every service has a clearly stated price on its product page. There are no hidden fees disclosed only at checkout.
- VAT is included. All prices displayed on Visask include UAE VAT at 5%. There is no VAT surprise at checkout. Your total at checkout is the total you pay.
- Government fees are disclosed. Where a portion of your payment is a government fee (not retained by Easyco but remitted to a UAE authority), this is identified as a separate line item on the product page and on your checkout summary.
- Add-on prices are shown upfront. Optional add-ons (such as medical insurance, driving license conversion, or personal bank account setup) are offered at clearly stated prices before you confirm your Order.
- No phone-only pricing. We do not quote prices verbally without publishing them. The price on the website is the price you pay.
If you ever encounter a discrepancy between the price shown on a product page and the price at checkout, do not complete the purchase. Contact us immediately at info@visask.com or WhatsApp +971 50 954 0521 and we will investigate and resolve it.
03 Right to receipts and invoices
You are entitled to a written record of every transaction you make with Visask.
- Order confirmation — sent by email within minutes of payment confirmation. This confirms the service purchased, the amount paid, and the Order number.
- VAT invoice (tax invoice) — a VAT-compliant tax invoice is issued by email within 1 working day of your payment. It shows the service, the Service Fee, the Government Fee (where applicable), the VAT amount, Easyco's TRN (Tax Registration Number), and the total paid. Keep this for your records.
- Requesting a copy — if you have not received your VAT invoice, or if you need a duplicate for any reason (including accounting or reimbursement purposes), contact us at info@visask.com with your Order number and we will reissue it within 1 working day.
All invoices are retained by Easyco for the period required under UAE VAT law (minimum 7 years) and are available to you on request for that period.
04 Right to accurate information
You have the right to receive accurate, truthful, and complete information about the services you are considering purchasing.
- Eligibility requirements — we state the eligibility criteria for each service on its product page. Where eligibility depends on individual circumstances, we advise you to speak with our team before purchasing.
- Processing timelines — timelines on product pages are based on our experience with the relevant authority under normal conditions. They are guidance, not guarantees. We tell you this clearly.
- What is included — each product page lists what is and is not included in the price. Where a service does not include, for example, medical appointment fees or attestation costs, we say so.
- No misleading claims — we do not make claims about approval rates, guaranteed outcomes, or authority decisions. We cannot and do not guarantee that a UAE government authority will approve your application.
If you find information on the Visask website that appears to be inaccurate or misleading, please contact us at info@visask.com. We take accuracy seriously and will investigate and correct any errors promptly.
05 Cooling-off period
UAE Consumer Protection legislation provides for a cooling-off period (right of withdrawal) for certain types of purchases. However, the application of cooling-off rights to professional services — particularly those that involve immediate engagement with government processes — is subject to specific conditions.
Our position
Visask services are professional services that engage UAE government processes promptly after Order confirmation. Once Easyco has commenced work (document collection, application preparation, or portal submission), the service has begun and a full refund is not possible under standard cooling-off principles.
What we do in practice
Even where a formal cooling-off period may not apply, Visask will always consider your circumstances reasonably. If you have placed an Order and have not yet had any contact from our team (i.e., no document requests have been sent and no work has begun), we will treat a cancellation request made within 24 hours of Order placement sympathetically and will aim to issue a full refund of the Service Fee where the Government Fee has not yet been remitted.
See our full Refund and Cancellation Policy for the stage-by-stage refund schedule.
06 Right to complain
You have the right to make a complaint about any aspect of the service you have received from Visask, and to receive a response. We take complaints seriously.
What counts as a complaint
A complaint is any formal expression of dissatisfaction about the service we provided or failed to provide. Examples include: an application delayed beyond the guidance timeline with no explanation; incorrect information submitted by our team; a fee charged that was not disclosed; communication that was unresponsive or unprofessional; a refund request not handled in accordance with our stated policy.
How to make a complaint
- Email: complaints@visask.com
- WhatsApp: +971 50 954 0521 (mark your message as a formal complaint)

What we will do
- Acknowledge your complaint in writing within 2 working days.
- Investigate and provide a written response within 10 working days of acknowledgement. If the matter requires longer, we will tell you within the 10-day window and give you a revised timeline.
- Where we find that a mistake was made on our side, we will tell you clearly what happened and what we will do to put it right.
- Where we disagree with your complaint, we will explain our position clearly and tell you how to escalate.
07 How to escalate
If we have not resolved your complaint to your satisfaction, you have the right to escalate to official UAE consumer protection channels. We support this right.
08 UAE Consumer Protection authority
If you wish to escalate a complaint beyond Visask, the following authorities are available to you:
When filing a complaint with either authority, provide your Order number, the nature of your complaint, copies of any relevant communications, and evidence that you have first attempted to resolve the matter with Visask directly.
09 Data rights
Under the UAE Personal Data Protection Law (Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021), you have rights over your personal data. These are described in full in our Privacy Policy. In summary:
- Right of access: You can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Right to correction: You can ask us to correct inaccurate data.
- Right to deletion: You can ask us to delete your data, subject to legal retention requirements.
- Right to object: You can object to processing of your data where it is based on legitimate interests.
